Two New Scholarships Announced by Candia Dollars for Scholars

In 2019, two new scholarships were announced by Candia Dollars for Scholars®. The first was the $1,000 Jeanne Cole Memorial Scholarship, funded by the Candia Community Woman's Club in memory of the late Jeanne Cole, a longtime CCWC member. It is the second $1,000 gift from the CCWC benefiting local students, and is awarded to an individual studying in the medical or health science fields.

The second donation was the $1,000 Four Corners Scholarship, funded by businesses at or near the intersection of Routes 27 (High Street) and 43 (Main Street). They include Patriot Heating, Candia Trailers, The Farmer's Wife, and 4 Main Street LLC.

"We are so grateful for all our cherished memories of Jeanne in the Candia Community Woman's Club," says CCWC Treasurer/Corresponding Secretary Lisa Cote. "We all are truly blessed to have worked with Jeanne on so many of our projects and those memories will always live on in our hearts."

"The generosity of the Candia Community Women's Club and the businesses at Four Corners will make a real difference in young people's lives," said Candia Dollars for Scholars® Coordinator Colleen Bolton. "These scholarships will provide needed support as students work toward their career goals."
